Pole to Pole

A Solo Exhibition by Brett Jarrett

It is with great excitement that for the first time in the history of art@wintergarden gallery we will be showing a wildlife artist. Brett Jarrett brings to Geelong a solo exhibition of over 30 works entitled Pole to Pole.

As a wildlife painter Brett has travelled extensively over many years in search of subject matter, field trips include Antarctica, throughout Australasia, Northern Lapland to Canada’s Hudson Bay, the Americas and the geographic North Pole. With a background in marine mammals and bird identification alongside his dedicated art practice, Brett’s oil paintings express his lifelong passion, creating enduring works sympathetic to the animals' environment. It is this acquired knowledge which sees his work sought after by authors globally for wildlife publications.

Most recent publications include Australian National Geographic and Artist’s Palette. He has gained signature membership to the prestigious Society of Animal Artists, USA. Often taking months to produce Brett works from his home at the southwest coast of Victoria. For the month of August the gallery will be enriched by his magnificent paintings.

Exhibition Opening including Artist's Talk Sunday August 7 3:00 pm

Exhibition runs from August 5 – 29 and is open 10am – 4pm daily

"The seeds of my passion were planted as a small child. To have lived the life of a naturalist, artist and adventurer has been a dream come true, ultimately leading to exploring the Antarctic continent, the geographic North Pole and all habitats in between." - Brett Jarrett
